Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your home, set up cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and the amount of water your mop consumes.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are vital for my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in one session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on an object.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be cleaned and heat-dried within the dock and the dust container is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've test.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We would highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also has an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.
The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out, and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately also require replacement every few months.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're looking to save money, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could find but its price and ongoing maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle avoidance. It even has a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. As it rotates, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station which is then absorbed by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank holds plenty of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. It must be filled with clean water, however this is simple to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you do select this option you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own choice of cleaners.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map the area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests, but this may be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at a reasonable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can choose particular rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. budget robot vacuum works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. The default pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option, which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust left behind by the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and helps the robot to make its clean better than its less expensive competitors.
